The rooms :
The spacious and luxuriously designed rooms (from 63 sqm), suites and the villa offers the ultimate in comfort. They are all appointed into a classical style with wooden or palm thatch roofs, with terrace or balcony overlooking the Indian Ocean.
The hotel offers a great concept for families, with special rooms offering a separate children's bedroom of 11 sqm, particularly recommended to parents wishing both to preserve their privacy while having their children close by. This original room concept is supported by the Mini Club for children from the age of 3 years with a wide range of activities.
The restaurants :
The resort's culinary offering is just as diverse. The three restaurants each have their own personality: "The Moulin", our main restaurant, offers themed dinners with its varied buffets, "Le Camaron", the beach restaurant, serves light dishes, fresh fish and seafood. "La Grand'Caze", the à la carte restaurant, invites you to experience innovative and exceptional recipes with Mauritius flavours in a romantic setting. In the evening, guests might enjoy live entertainment or other events at the bar, savouring the perfect end to a lovely day.
Spot
Due to the landscape that strongly boosts the prevailing South-Easterly winds in winter and due to a very specific and local thermal wind in summer, this spots offer ideal conditions 11 months a year (February being the exception.)
Center
The Windfishpro kiteschool uses the latest North Kiteboarding, Flysurfer and ION gear. The EVO kites we use, is the best and safest kite for teaching. In most tests it scores highest with flying, stability and safest systems.
We offer very small groups with a maximum of 2 students per teacher. This makes the entry into this fascinating sport safe and simple and gives a maximum of learning success! Our training system is very simple: We offer kitepakages ranking from 2 hours up to a complete package of 10 hours for beginner, intermediate or advanced.

Stand-up paddle
In the Lagune of Bel Ombre beach, in front of the Mövenpick Hotels is the ideal spot to have a lot of fun
with the SUPs. The school offers the newest Sups from NSP for you. It is the perfect option for low
wind days. SUP Boards are free of charge for all guests which booked lessons or rent equipment with
KiteGlobing.

Practical Info
Formalities :
Please check the visa requirements for your destination at the appropriate consulate or embassy in your country and do this well in advance of your travel date.
Health :
If you travel from Europe there won't be any immunization required. Nevertheless it is recommended, especially for individualistic travellers, to get a vaccination against hepatitis A, tetanus and typhoid.
Malaria does not exist on Mauritius.
Currency and exchange :
Local currency is the rupee (MR)
1 € = Approx. 43 Rupees.
Payment :
All credit cards in common use are accepted. Traveller's checks by banks and hotels.
Voltage :
220/240 volt alternating current, 50 Hertz. Adapters are often necessary. They might be provided to you at the reception of your hotel.
Climate - Clothing:
The climate is slightly tropical with frequent brief showers especially during the warmer month (November - March). The temperatures during the Mauritian summer fluctuate between 24 degrees in the morning and 31 degrees in the afternoon. During winter it is about 7 degrees less than during summer.
The temperature of the water is about 25 degrees throughout the year.
The rain periods are often very short and confined to the nighttimes when it is colder.
Light cotton clothing is recommended. Pullover and jacket are advisable for the cooler evenings, especially if you are planning to spend some time in the mountainous country.
Furthermore sunglasses and raincoats are necessary throughout the year. Headgear is recommended while hiking.
Men should wear long trousers in restaurants in the evening.
